These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and Knitting Courses (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of our website, courses, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any referenced policies. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including purchases, course access, and communications. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other learners, instructors, or the Service.

The Service may include course videos, patterns, downloadable materials, live sessions, community features, and progress tracking. We may add, remove, or modify features and content to improve quality, comply with law, or maintain security.

We try to keep core course access stable, but occasional maintenance, upgrades, and outages can occur. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or compatible with every device.

When you purchase a course, subscription, or add‑on, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the payment method you provide. Prices may include taxes where required or may have taxes added at checkout depending on your location.

Subscriptions: If you enroll in a recurring plan, it will automatically renew at the then‑current rate until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal charge.

Course access: Access duration (lifetime, fixed term, or subscription‑based) is described on the purchase screen at the time of sale.

Refund eligibility depends on the product type and applicable consumer laws. If you believe you were charged in error, or if a course is materially not as described, contact us with your order details and a brief explanation.

For digital content, refunds may be limited once access has been provided, especially where downloads or significant viewing has occurred, unless local law requires otherwise.

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited behavior includes: attempting to access accounts you do not own, interfering with site performance, reverse‑engineering, scraping content at scale, sending spam, or using the Service for unlawful activity.

Community spaces (if available) must remain respectful. Harassment, hate speech, doxxing, or repeated disruptive conduct is not allowed.

We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.

The Service and its content (including videos, text, images, patterns, course structure, and branding) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non‑commercial learning, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, redistribute, sell, publicly display, or create derivative works from course materials except where we explicitly allow it in writing.

If the Service allows you to submit content (such as comments, messages, photos of your projects, or reviews), you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you agree we may use it without obligation to you.

You represent that you have the rights to post any content you submit and that it does not violate third‑party rights or laws.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

Knitting involves tools and materials. You are responsible for safe use of needles, scissors, and other equipment, and for selecting materials appropriate for your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice where permitted) if you violate these Terms, create risk, or if we must do so to comply with law or protect the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute terms) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Service and the consumer protections that may apply in your jurisdiction. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
